Have you ever wanted to sail through the air over a giant wooden snow fence, stick the landing, and ride away a hero in front of all your friends and family? Now you can!

WYDOT couldn't have known that they were creating a legend when they refused to move an old snow fence from the middle of our intermediate run, Horseshoe. That snow fence is now the centerpiece of a Shirley Basin Ski Area tradition: The Jump the Fence! Festival!

Sign our one-time insurance waiver, line up at the top, and throw yourself over the snow fence on Shirley Basin’s Horseshoe run. Succeed and you’ll receive lots of high fives and a free hot dog from the Hot Dog Barn! Stomp the “Best Trick Over the Fence” and win a season pass for the next season!
